is perched right on the seaside and boasts uninterrupted dream Greek
island sea views across to the island of Naxos. The villa has a private
infinity swimming pool (5x10 meters) and a stone paved path to a small
secluded beach (50 meters) just in front of the property. 200m2 of
outdoor terraces surround the villa which include 2 outdoor covered
dining areas, a lounge area with comfy sofa and chairs and an outdoor
kitchen/taverna with barbecue, sink and the swimming pool (5x10) in
front, all have a panoramic sea view and are ideal for enjoying Greek
summer evenings and days. INTERIOR: The villa is tastefully decorated
and comfortably furnished. Entry into a bright, stylish living room
(flat screen TV, DVD, CD), dining room and open fully-equipped kitchen
(dishwasher, oven, gas and electric stove, microwave). A hallway leads
to 3 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms of which have large built-in bunk beds, 1
bedroom has 2 twin beds (can be made as a double) with built-in
wardrobe, desk, sea views and french doors opening on to the terrace. At
the end of the hall there is a large bathroom with shower and WC. Stairs
lead up to the 1st floor master bedroom suite with large double bed,
walk-in closet, and large ensuite bathroom with sunken bathtub, shower
and WC. Two sets of french doors lead to a spacious pergola covered
terrace with built-in couches, lounge chairs and amazing sea views. From
the ground floor steps lead down to the basement level which is very
cool and where there is a large double bedroom with 3 built-in sofas
(can be used as 3 single beds), a bathroom with shower/WC and a laundry
room with washing machine and storage area. There is also a single
nanny/staff bedroom available on this level. The villa also has a
separate air-conditioned guest house below the pool terrace and
overlooking the sea with double bed, 2 built-in couches (can be used as
single beds) ensuite bathroom with shower/WC, a kitchenette with small
oven and electric stove, refrigerator and an outdoor patio. From here
the stone path leads to the sea where there is a small secluded beach
with two sandy areas and sand entry into the water. 5 minutes further
along a path leads you to the lovely Blue Flag sandy beach called New
Golden Beach where you can rent wind surfing equipment and lessons.

several antique carpets and many antiques furnishings to accentuate its
charming, well-kept character. There are many balconies on both floors and
abundant sliding doors to let in fresh sea breezes in summer. The grounds
are lush and include many indigenous plants and flowers as well as an
olive grove and even the ancient stone ruins from a classical port once
located on this property. The property is gated and access to the sea is
by a path just 20 steps from the house to a lovely cove (shared generally
by only 2 other nearby homes, if any) ideal for afternoon dips before
retiring for lunch on the verandah or at one of the near-by tavernas.
Water-skiing boats can be rented in town just a mile away and even moored
at the house. LOCATION: Evia is the second largest Greek island after
Crete and still unspoiled by mass tourism. The house sits just a mile from
Karystos a lively and authentic Greek fishing village of 10,000
inhabitants that has shops, restaurants, fresh seafood, and seaside
tavernas, traditional bouzoki as well as two nightclubs. The nearby
countryside offers a chance to go even deeper into real Greek life, with many
small villages following their classical customs. |
