Near Town Center of Spetses, 19th century, 2 story manor house, on the Island of Spetses, surrounded by lush gardens with jasmine, lemon, orange, fig, olive, palm and banana trees. Comfortably furnished, with cozy ambiance and outdoor alcoves for discreet lounging. It is located near the town center of Spetses, yet protected by the hustle and bustle of the town by its boundary walls. The manor house is set on its own partly landscaped property (1,500 m2) laid with flagstone and a beautiful garden. The gate leads to a courtyard with lots of flowers and outdoor sitting facilities. The house comprises of two sections connected through a corridor. The main entrance leads to a hallway and to the left, there is a double bedroom, a WC with shower tub and a small single bedroom. Both rooms have views on to the courtyard. A steep wooden interior staircase leads to the first floor: there is 1 double bedroom with wooden balcony with town view, 1 twin bedroom with window view of the garden and a shared WC/bathtub. The cozy, traditionally furnished living room, with fireplace and dining table for 6 persons is on the other side of the corridor and opens on to the tiled veranda and yard and to a separate-plan kitchen by the side, leading to a small staff room with WC/shower. Just outside the living room, on the veranda, there is an open-air bar adjacent to the wall, an outdoor sitting area, a dining table for 8 persons and a beautiful nest-like corner, private and shaded by the lush vegetation, with bamboo chairs and a small table. The well-tended garden has tiered terraces, is home of a variety of plants, bamboo trees, colorful flowers and interesting corners for relaxing. On a lower level ground, there is a built-in barbecue, a built-in sitting area, ideal for dining under the olive tree. An exterior staircase leads to a small terrace, on the roof of the house that can be converted with the addition of cushions, into an inviting, comfortable corner from where you can see the port and the sea in the evenings. LOCATION: 10 minutes walk from the town center and the port, 5 minutes walk from the local sandy/pebbly beach by the port. Only residents` cars, taxis, horse carriages and rented mopeds are allowed on the island.
