Lake Maggiore Villa is situated on the western side of Lake Maggiore in the beautiful park of Lagoni di Mercurago. From many points on the estate, especially from the garden, it is possible to enjoy magnificent views of the lake and the medieval fortress of Angera on the opposite shore. There is a wonderful swimming pool (12x6 meters) in the garden where guests will enjoy lounging amongst the gorgeous scenery. Built in the 1960’s, it has recently been restored and refurbished in a modern style. The interiors are spacious and light, with a varied range of colors, although white dominates. The house has been featured in several magazines that specialize in architectural design. Villa consists of a main circular section, containing a very large sitting room that was once a ballroom, and two wings with identical hallways leading to a large dining room and the bedroom area. The result is a house with a spectacular structure.
